St. Charles, IL (January 30, 2017) — American Office Products Distributors, Inc. (AOPD) is proud to announce that the AOPD Board of Directors has approved membership for two more dealer members as participants into their sales and marketing association. The first new dealer is Herald Office Solutions. Herald began doing business in 1893, as a printing firm in Dillon, South Carolina, printing many of the local newspapers. Still headquartered in Dillon, Herald now has 10 sales and service locations; 9 in South Carolina and 1 in North Carolina.

The second new dealer is Midwest Office Supply headquartered in Springfield, Illinois. Midwest Office Supply, like Herald, has an impressive number of locations and a strong presence in the heart of the country, with 4 locations in Illinois, 4 locations in Missouri, 3 locations in Kansas, and 1 in California. A full line distributorship, Midwest joins AOPD through its recent acquisition of AOPD member dealer Smart Business Products of Columbia, Missouri, further increasing their footprint.

These two dealerships significantly increase AOPD’s number of dealer locations which further strengthens its national account network. AOPD Executive Director Mark Leazer stated that “On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff of AOPD, I am pleased to welcome these two dealers to AOPD’s growing network. We are looking forward to working with both of these organizations to help them grow their businesses and also look forward to their contributions to AOPD’s continued growth in regional and national account sales.”
