American Office Products Distributors, Inc. (AOPD) Executive Director Mark Leazer has announced his retirement after eight years of dedicated leadership.
Mark joined AOPD in 2016 after a distinguished career at FSI Office, a leading independent dealer. Known for his passion and commitment to supporting independent dealers, Mark has been a driving force behind AOPD’s strategic growth and commitment to excellence. Initially planning to retire in 2025, Mark has decided to step down earlier due to health challenges that required him to take an extended leave earlier this year.
During his time as Executive Director, Mark’s vision and dedication strengthened AOPD’s presence within the industry and fostered valuable relationships among members, business partners, and national accounts. Mark’s dedication to independent dealers and his enthusiasm for AOPD’s mission have left a lasting impact.
“Mark’s contributions have been invaluable, and his presence will be greatly missed,” said Angela Sumner Price, General Manager and Director of National Operations & Marketing at AOPD. “We extend our heartfelt wishes to Mark and his family as he focuses on recovery.”
While the AOPD Board of Directors conducts a search for a permanent successor, long-time AOPD employee Angela Sumner Price will assume the Executive Director responsibilities on an interim basis. Angela’s familiarity with AOPD’s operations and her commitment to the organization make her well-suited to ensure a smooth transition.
