South Elgin, IL (May 3, 2023) — AOPD has just concluded its Annual Meeting, “Engage 2023,” at The Arizona Grand in Phoenix, AZ. The AOPD Annual Meeting provides the opportunity for AOPD Business Partners and Dealers to discuss sales and marketing strategies for the year. In addition, there are education and networking sessions spread throughout the agenda. Mark Leazer, AOPD Executive Director stated, “Our feedback from attendees at Engage 23 has been roundly positive. One first time attendee told me this was the best conference he had attended in the past 15 years.”
Mark Leazer continued, “The “engagement” by Dealers and Business Partners was outstanding. AOPD contracts and programs continue to gain traction which should yield expansion of growth in 2023 on top of a fantastic year of 18% growth in 2022. Our second year of Group Marketing Workshops seemed to carry forward from last year’s debut success. Similar success in One to One meetings. Great food, weather and a great venue contributed to the collaboration and interaction that, we hope, propels AOPD to another year of growth in 2023. It was terrific being with all our attendees for a couple of concentrated, productive days together in Phoenix.”
AOPD’s President, Beth Freeman commented, “It was exciting to hear about the successes that AOPD members are having. Engage 23 provided a great opportunity to learn more from one another, sharing best practices, and how to utilize the contracts, tools, and resources AOPD provides its members. We are looking forward to capitalizing on this momentum and continuing to grow and win together in 2023.”
At the Awards Dinner on Tuesday night AOPD presented six awards to recognize the Dealer’s success in 2022. The winners were:
- The Office City – Highest percentage growth by a Contracting Dealer
- FSIoffice – Highest dollar growth by a Contracting Dealer
- Intivity, Inc. – Highest percentage growth for the NCPA Contract
- Officewise Furniture & Supply – Highest dollar growth for the NCPA Contract
- Storey Kenworthy – Highest percentage growth for the Premier Contract
- FSIoffice – Highest dollar growth for the Premier Contract
AOPD presented the President’s Award for Dealers to Alisa Fraga-Kautzmann, of Tejas Office Products, Inc., and Chris Cooper from Clover Imaging as the Business Partner recipient. Both awardees are well deserving of this prestigious award and have been long time supporters of AOPD and the IDC.
