St. Charles, IL (March 9, 2015) — The Board of Directors of American Office Products Distributors, Inc. (AOPD) has announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Leazer as its future Executive Director to replace Mr. M.C. Bud Mundt who informed the AOPD membership at the AOPD Annual Meeting of his intentions to retire as Executive Director at the end of 2015.
Mr. Mundt will remain actively in his role as full-time Executive Director and will assist Mr. Leazer in his gradual transition from Director of Sales Technology of FSIoffice, Charlotte, NC. The transition process will begin on October 1, 2015, with Mr. Leazer taking the reins as full time Executive Director on January 1, 2016.
Bud Mundt has been AOPD’s Executive Director for 11 years and will remain connected to AOPD as a consultant and advisor for the foreseeable future.
Mark Leazer has been employed with FSIoffice for 30 years. He will be leaving FSIoffice and taking up full time employment as AOPD Executive Director, a position he held in a part time capacity from 2001 to 2004, prior to Bud Mundt being hired as Executive Director.
