The Board of Directors of American Office Products Distributors (AOPD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Sumner Price, MBA, as Executive Director, marking a new chapter of leadership for the dealer network.
A Proven Career Within AOPD
Angela has been an integral member of AOPD for over 22 years. She joined the organization in 2002 as a Sales and Marketing Administrator and steadily advanced through leadership roles. Most recently, she served as GM/Director of National Operations and Marketing. Her tenure at AOPD has been characterized by a strong commitment to operational excellence, membership, and Business Partner value, and sales growth.
Interim Leadership
In 2024, Angela was appointed Interim Executive Director following Mark Leazer’s retirement. During her interim tenure, she guided AOPD through strategic transitions, onboarded new dealer members and Business Partners, and led the renewal of one of AOPD’s largest contracts, OMNIA Partners.
Academic Excellence
Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and organizational leadership from Miami University and completed her MBA at North Central College in 2012.
A Vision for Continued Growth
As Executive Director, Angela will lead all aspects of AOPD’s operations, including dealer and Business Partner engagement, marketing strategy, and contract management. Her strategic vision centers on identifying new growth opportunities through innovation, technology, and collaborative initiatives. Angela is committed to strengthening AOPD’s position in the market by helping the Independent Dealer Channel compete effectively with national players, while continuing to deliver exceptional service and value to every AOPD customer.
