A look back at 2021.

Once again, it is time to take a step back and reflect on the past year. This year certainly had its challenges as the pandemic draws on, however, we continue to have milestones we can celebrate.

Sales Upswing

After a difficult 2020 due to COVID-19, we turned the corner and saw a promising uptick in sales starting in Q3. AOPD sales were up double digits in August and September. The upward trend continued in October, seeing a 4% increase.

Annual Meeting

In October, we hosted our first ever virtual annual meeting, entitled “Engage 2021.” The virtual event enabled AOPD to try out new formats and concepts, including Business Partner Group Presentations and Roundtables. The success of the virtual annual meeting reflects AOPD’s commitment to continuous evolution and innovation of our offering to Dealers and Business Partners.

Premier Success

The Combination with Friends Premier Program continues to expand under the leadership of Betsy Hughes, AOPD National Healthcare Sales Director. Premier contract sales saw an annual growth of 20% YTD through October.

AOPD Growth

We are excited to have added three new Dealers this year, which means we will finish 2021 with 67 Dealer members and 21 Supplier Business Partners. In addition, AOPD has added 26 new commercial contracts as of November this year.

We are pleased to have continued and improved upon the successful Annual Business Reviews with AOPD Business Partners, featuring AOPD Contract POS (point of sale) Usage Data.

Marketing & Training

In January, we initiated the AOPD University, a monthly webinar for Dealer training and Business Partner presentations. We have been pleased with the feedback we’ve received around AOPD University.

And finally, we saw continued successful Business Partners’ use of AOPD headquarters as a marketing conduit to AOPD Dealers. We are excited to actually give this value add a name in 2022 (drum roll please), we’d like to present the new name: AOPD Marketing Connection.
